Search Functionality Shot
The main search screen allows the user to enter as much (24 hour Road Service within a 10 mile radius of Birmingham, AL)
or as little (all vendors in Nashville, TN) information as desired. Users can search by area code and exchange, city and state,
latitude and longitude (both decimal and degrees, mintues, seconds), and by vendor name and state. Choose your search radius, from 10
miles to 150 miles. Select a general category (Tires) or select specific brands (Goodyear, Dunlop). Our applications also allows you
to only find vendors that are open 24 hours, or only find vendors that you have added. Additionally the main search screen includes
the search history, favorite searches and favorite vendors sections.
Search Results List
The results screen details the vendor name, address, city and state, phone number, distance and direction
from your search point, and any notes the user might have entered. You can also turn the following columns on
and off: address, road service, and open 24 hours. Users can easily change the search radius and search criteria
on the fly, without having to intiate a new search. Columns are sortable to allow you to locate a particular vendor
quickly.
Vendor Detail Screen
The final area of the application is the vendor detail screen. Here the user sees all the informaton associated
with a vendor: address and location, hours of operation, phone numbers including toll free and after hours,
rating if applicable, and all categories and brands. From this screen the users comments and notes are also visible.
The toolbar at the top allows the user to print, delete, send feedback, add to favorites or close to return to the results
list. End result? The most comprehensive application on the market for locating vendors when a breakdown occurs.
